Time Warp
Time Warp is a Game Mechanic in Sixty Four.
Time Warp slows down or speeds up the game, while applying an orange filter on the screen.
Time Warp occurs when at least one
Hollow Stone is present next to the
Hollow Rock.
Time Warp Statistics[edit | edit source]
The severity of the Time Warp depends on the number of
Hollow Stones around the
Hollow Rock.
Time Warps have an additional 0.1% chance of occurring per second per
Hollow Stone. Currently, because the maximum
Hollow Stone count is capped at 16 because of the
Hollow Rock Facility and higher tier upgrades, the highest chance of a Time Warp per second is 1.6%.
Each
Hollow Stone can add up to 10s to the Time Warp duration.
Time Warp chances and lengths can be found in the table below:
| Time Warp Type | 1-8 Hollow Stones | More than 8 Hollow Stones | Minimum Length | Maximum Length |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 2x Faster | 30% | 30% | 10s | 170s |
| 2x Slower | 40% | 40% | 10s | 170s |
| 10x Slower | 30% | 20% | 10s | 170s |
| 50x Slower | - | 10% | 5s | 85s |
The duration of Time Warps that are 50x slower are half as long as normal Time Warps. There is a 96s cooldown between Time Warps.
Additional Info[edit | edit source]
Almost any manual actions can override a Time Warp. Camera movements with keys cannot.
An early way to prevent Time Warps is to mine
Hollow Stone as soon as one spawns.
The
Hollow Flower can be used to counteract the Time Warp effect of one
Hollow Stone.
Time Warps can be negated by entering The Abyss through the
Void Admiration Chancel.
Time Warps become irrevelant later on as
Hollow Fruit consumes
Hollow Stones around the
Hollow Rock.
