Chromalit

Mining Depth 6200 - 19000 m
Unlock Requirement 7000m Depth

Chromalit is one of the Stones in Sixty Four.

Chromalit is unlocked when any corresponding extracting channel digs to 6200m.

Chromalit can be mined from 6200 m depth, although you won't get a significant amount until 7000m.

Afterwards you can produce Chromalit through Celestial Irradiator.pngCelestial Irradiator.

Chromalit cannot exist in a game for a long time. By default it decays into Hell Gem.pngHell Gem and other lower tier stones after being mined. The decay rate is 2%/sec, or a half-life of ~34.66 seconds. Construction of Containment Vessel.pngContainment Vessel will save some of the Chromalit from decaying.

Chromalit Sources[edit | edit source]

There are several ways how you can get Chromalit in Sixty Four. In the early stages of the game you can get Chromalit by breaking blocks that have it. Later on as your extracting channels dig deeper your main way of getting Chromalit is Celestial Irradiator.pngCelestial Irradiator.

Here is a list that contain Chromalit

Chromalit Uses[edit | edit source]

Chromalit is widely used in Sixty Four. It is a part of many Machines recipes and production chains.

Chromalit will decay into lower tier stones.

Chromalit Additional information[edit | edit source]

It is possible to have more Chromalit than you can store in the Containment Vessel.pngContainment Vessels for the short duration after its being produced. In order to construct machines that needs high amount of Chromalit you will need to start your Celestial Irradiators in the same time and construct the machine when the production cycle finishes and all the machines will release their resources.

Another tactic is to stably store Chromalit in machines that require some to be built, and then release it all at once by selling them.

The more Chromalit you have above the storage capacity, the faster it decays, increasing the conversion speed to Hell Gems.
