Gradient Well
Gradient Well is one of the Machines in Sixty Four.
Gradient Well is everlasting mineable cube. It should be connected to the The Inverse Chasm via Conductors.
Gradient Well is unlocked after you build the Reconstructed Hollow, but not before you build the The Inverse Chasm.
Gradient Well Function[edit | edit source]
Gradient Well's main function is to be crushed. It also harvests random Glyph from The Abyss earning you Reality on the fixed intervals
Gradient Well requires Conductor connection, but at the same time acts as a Conductor itself.
Gradient Well is affected by most destabilizers and resonators. Its not affected by Hell Gem Injector and Hell Gem Destabilizer. Unlike regular cubes, the Gradient Well is not destroyed when harvested by a Resonator. It instead grants a large number of resources from a fixed distribution. This amount can be increased by using stronger Resonators and Destabilizers.
Charonite | 10.416% |
Elmerine | 2.083% |
Qanetite | 3.125% |
Beta-Pylene | 20.833% |
Celestial Foam | 62.5% |
Gradient Well Construction Costs[edit | edit source]
As all Machines, Gradient Well gets more expensive every time its constructed.
You can use the following table to calculate the cost of the Gradient Well multiplying Base costs by the Building Multiplier.
Gradient Well Build Cost Multiplier: 1.2
Stones | Costs |
---|---|
Charonite | 80M |
Elmerine | 40 M |
Qanetite | 40 M |
Void | 20 K |
Reality | 10 K |
Gradient Well Additional Information[edit | edit source]
Gradient Well is very powerful and when set up makes Channels and normal mining techniques obsolete.
In order to maximize Reality Gains sell all the unnecessary machines, so Gradient Well will randomly pick more expensive Glyph from Hollow Flower or Containment Silo
Gradient Well being a Conductor makes its Base Layouts very effective, condensed and automated.
