Scalable Square Extracting Channel II Layout is an efficient base build layout to mine Cubes for Stones.
It can be created using the most basic Machines and upgraded later on with the advanced one as they are being unlocked.

Utilizing single Excavating Channel to the maximum it allows to efficiently mine high amount of resources from 2-4-6 Extractors.

Main Purpose of the Layout

The main purpose of the Scalable Square Extracting Channel II Layout is maximizing the stones output per Excavating Channel.

Single Excavating Channel can produce 8 blocks that are affected by Hell Gem Destabilizer, Hell Gem Injector and Catalytic Refinery and 4 additional blocks that arent affected by anything (Can be replaced by Entropy Capacitor later.

Scalable Square Extracting Channel II Layout Can be easily scaled by building the same layout adjacent to it, making machines on that side twice as effective.

Most of the time this Setup is utilized by using 4 Excavating Channel and making 4 square layouts next to each other focusing on the central area getting most performance.

Its possible to just create the Extracting channel and surrounding parts and fit only one side of the square with the proper machinery to start with.

Corner Entropy Capacitor spots are optional, but they increase mining speed drastically, so highly recommended.

Its recommended to focus and fully upgrade one of the Layouts before moving on to constructing additional ones on the side for the cluster. This will allow first/main Excavating Channel to dig deeper faster and unlock better stones.

Once the main layout is ready its possible to add additional one on the adjacent side making a cluster. The best way to make a cluster is placing layouts mirroring each other, so Pump Station will be facing outwards. This way inner corner areas will get most synergy from nearby machines, making Catalytic Refineries increase output even more.

Additional Information

Scalable Square Extracting Channel II Layout is resource hungry, so Underground Silos have to be refueled very often. Upgrading to Industrial Silo will help, but will still require close attention in order to run non-stop.

As the Layout will become obsolete Its recommended to leave one layout from the cluster with a single Excavating Channel intact in case if higher tier extractors wont produce stones fast enough.

This build can be used all the way to the endgame, making it a great pick to keep the resources flowing.
