From Official Sixty Four Wiki
In this article we combined useful tips for the progression and tried to keep it spoiler-free. Select the area you are in and open a hidden content to see all the tips to help you progress.
If you just started the game:[edit | edit source]
- Just click and hold the machine, break the cubes.
- Follow the dialogue to get the hints on whats happening and what to do next.
- If you went exploring and lost your way to the base you can save the game and load it. It will respawn you in the center of the map. Moreover, if you move too far away cursor will change to an arrow pointing towards the center.
~ 500m deep[edit | edit source]
Tips and Tricks for 500+ Extractor Depth
- Invest into Converter Machines and additional
channels.
- One
Entropy Resonator hits all the adjacent blocks at the same time.
~ 1 km[edit | edit source]
Tips and Tricks for 1000m+ Extractor Depth
Hell Gem spawns randomly in the cubes at certain depths. Cubes become a lot harder to mine when there's a hell gem in it.
Hell Gem Destabilizers +
Hell Gem Injectors = speed.
Hell Gem Injectors generates 32
Hell Gems while consuming 32
Hell Gems. The point here is that
Hell Gem Destabilizer boosts cube-mining by 625x but it requires a
Hell Gem in it. So
Hell Gem Injector are supposed to be paired with
Hell Gem Destabilizer to speed up mining process. They don't actually consume
Hell Gem though.
- Different Stones are at the different mining depth.
- You can remove and place Extracting Channel to reset the depth and mine lower tier stones
~ 6 km[edit | edit source]
Tips and Tricks for 6000m+ Extractor Depth
- As you may have noticed,
Chromalit disappear themselves. However they don't disappear for nothing but decay into lower tier resources. At the beginning of this stage you want to build some
Containment Vessels to keep a small amount of
Chromalit for use, however later on Chromalit Decay becomes the main source of
Elmerine and
Qanetite.
- Check out new
Resonators.
- It's good to have several
Channels on different depths.
- Optimize your build for faster block breaking
~ 17 km[edit | edit source]
Tips and Tricks for 17000m+ Extractor Depth
- Build
Hollow Rock Research Site on the
Hollow Rock when you unlock it. The strange rock locates at the north of your original position, from where long pressing W for ~10 secs will get you there.
- Build
Hollow Rock Research Site and
Celestial Irradiator ASAP. If your
Chromalit level already dropped below 512, you could sell some stuff to afford
Celestial Irradiator.
- After you built the
Hollow Rock Research Site,
Hollow Stones start to spawn around it. The first
Hollow Stone requires a LOT of clicks to collect. Afaik most people get stuck here without being told to keep clicking it.
- Start collecting
Hollow Stones around the research site. More stones lying around — more severe the Time Warp (you feel that the whole game is being slowed down).
- Build as many
Celestial Irradiator as you can.
Chromalits are the main source of wealth.
- Build
General Decay Reactor. With Chromalit Decay it gives a lot of stuff.
- Keep collecting
Hollow Stones until you can afford the
Annihilator. Then start collecting
Void from it.
- Build the
Void Admiration Chancel. Then build a
Waypoint and interact with it.
Post-chancel[edit | edit source]
Tips and Tricks for Post-chancel
- Teleport a lot. You see it when it worked. Then get some
Hollow Fruit to automate
Hollow Stone.
- You will be teleported to a dark area called The Abyss. This area is a mimic of the previous area, where each machine you built is replaced by a
Glyph. Collecting it will reward you with a
Reality. Collect 1024
Reality to get back through the
Void Admiration Chancel.
- Do not remove your
Excavating Channel existing Base Layout completely once you built
Void Resonator layout. You might run out of
Celestial Foam or resource production speed might be too low for you and you wont have a backup plan.
- Build more
Hollow Flower and
Hollow Fruit to maximize
Reality gains
Void Admiration Chancel is not your entry point into The Abyss. It will cost 1
Void to get in and 1
Reality to go out. But you will still need 1024
Reality saved up in order to leave.
- Build the
The Inverse Chasm in order to fully automate your setup.
Post-chasm[edit | edit source]
Tips and Tricks for Post-chasm
- From now on, a long time of idling is expected. You'll need to redesign your build to make use of
Conductors and
Industrial Silos.
- Note their relatively aggresive cost scaling and plan around minimizing their use.
- Focus on making enough production to afford one or more
Gradient Wells as your goal.
Post-gradient[edit | edit source]
Tips and Tricks for Post-gradient
- A
Gradient Well pairwed with a few
Void Resonators and
Industrial Destabilizers will make channels obsolete - each set produces tens of millions of stones per second.
- Invest into
Containment Silos and finish the game!
- Once you have 1
Gradient Well you'll unlock the final item in the shop, "?", which requires 640K
Chromalit.
- Building "?" triggers the end of the game, and as such acquiring the stones to do so is your top priority.
- Either building more
Containment Silos (15+) or recycling some expensive
Chromalit cost buildings will allow the purchase of the "building"
- There is an Achievement for building "?" without doing the actions mentioned above.
